.........and my heart stops!! I say "Nathan, do you think you're invincible?" and he says "Mom, I'm the bionic man" ! I then went on (as a Mother has to :) to remind him that yes, he is the MILLION dollar man - but he's not bionic - just full of metal.

I think back to last year on May 7th when we brought him home from the hospital. Confined to a hospital bed, not able to do anything without help, not walking for months. So, in light of that, I AM so grateful that he is living life to the fullest - just one year later (but that doesn't mean that it doesn't just freak me out!!!)

He looks great! Looking forward to seeing him when he returns home...his little buddy is too! We might just need to go do ice cream!

"That's AWESOME!!" (meaning Nathan jumping into the water) He was, however, a little concerned that there may have been sharks in the water. HA!r

Looking back at what you went through you should be given an award!! I'm sure he'll come through with something...hope you're reading this Nathan!!!
