The "F" word

OK, I'm sorry but I have to use the "F" word today. It's haunting me! I usually try to keep this blog G rated, but today I have had it.............

FAFSA - I hope that doesn't offend anyone too much - it does me!

I wake up thinking about it, spend all day avoiding it, and am stressed beyond belief at the daunting task.

This year it seems to be harder for me to face because I know that Brandon won't get as much "help" as last year. He's stressed because he really wants to stay at Whitworth another year - but now they've raised their cost $5000! I know God has a plan .................................................but first I must finish the"F" word - FAFSA!

Anybody else not have theirs done yet? Last year I was done by Feb 14th - not this year!

Stay the course, and lock yourself in a room until it's done! Good luck!

I remember Mom doing that for Katie and Katie coming down the hall screaming/sobbing...I HATE MONEY!!!! It was then I vowed not to go to college. :) So, don't make it sound too terrible or Em might feel the same way!

Actually, I forgot all about it! Ashleigh never gets anything anyway. They say we can give her THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of dollars...HA!! Where do they come up with these numbers??? If I had any money, I'd have blinds on my windows!!! I wouldn't work!!!! I would join the gym, tan and have a personal trainer! I'd go out for coffee everyday (even though I don't drink coffee!)!!! Oh, and let's not forget that they don't look at tithing and Christian education for my other child!!!!
Okay, enough said! Good luck with yours...you'll get it done and be so thankful!!
(the security word is "pokey"!!!)

The joy of my kids being in college was that I didn't have to watch them do homework anymore!

The joy of having college graduates is that I don't have to do that blasted FAFSA anymore!(One year I had to send in corrections -- twice! Grrrrrr!)

Your day will come. Hang in there.

DESPISE FAFSA!!!! Haven't started it yet. Most likely won't get much help either. When we did it for Tabitha they only gave her enough to pay for 1 qtr. :P Now that she's on her own, she gets WAY more money for school.
