Coming Home!

Well my friends - after exactly 2 weeks tomorrow - Nathan is being released! Can you believe it?!?! It still blows my mind that 2 weeks ago we were wondering if he would live and what that would look like and now he's coming home.

Special equipment arrives today, and a "crew" of friends are coming this evening to clean our home and get the house set up for us to arrive!!

Today some Physical Therapy, lots of conversations with Insurance companies, nurses, doctors, etc.

I will continue to post updates - I'm sure we will have SO much to share as Nathan's progress continues.

Please continue to pray - we have some tough days/weeks ahead. Having you all walk through this journey with us has been such a blessing and has contributed greatly to the peace that we have experienced to get through this!

Awww that makes me so happy! He has come such a long way and he is so tough and yet throughout this all he's continued to smile and look to Jesus. I admire that. And I admire you and the Mr. for being so strong and supportive for him! Please please let me know if there is anything- anything at all- that you would like me to do for you! I'd be happy to help! Tell Nathan hi and to keep looking up! :)

Wow - congrats (I think!) I only hesitate because now the stinkin' hard work starts...but as previously talked about, God's grace'll be there through this next walk (or attempt at it!)
I continue with my thoughts and prayers and as my daughter so eloquently put it, please let us know if there's anything we can do!

What GREAT news!! We'll be praying for all of you as you make the transition. Janice, I know you're excited to start cooking again, but if you need any meals, we'd love to bring you one.

I found a verse that made me think of you guys and all your wonderful spirits!!

Daniel 12:3 "Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like stars forever."

God is Grrrrrrreat!

I have been reading your blog and praying for your family. I drove by the accident the day it happened & prayed for the boy being put on the stretcher. I knew in a few minutes lives would be changed forever. We did not know who he was, but when they closed the road down we thought he did not make it. We prayed for your son not knowing who he was. We praise God that he is where he is today. I am sure the road ahead is not going to be easy...but atleast you get to travel it with your sweet boy. May God give you peace & strength.
