Nathan's nurse just came out and said that he had just given him some more morphine and he there's a tray of FOOD waiting for him when he wakes up!! I'm sure it will pale in comparison to the food I'm already planning to cook up for him - but it is FOOD :-)
It's time to get some meat back on that boy's bones!!

For obvious reasons, you and your family, as well as the Hanowells, have been on our minds a lot lately. Yesterday, as we went about our day, school, work and then to talk with our financial guy (not as impressive as it sounds) I was reminded how unimportant all that is. I am rather concerned about that since we normally put such a high priority on those things. Coming home and reading your blog (and praying for Nathan) has been part of our daily routine lately. Thank you for keeping us posted and for helping us to keep things in perspective!
